Purposes of the processing
Marcs Golfshop collects and processes customers’ personal data for customer and order management, customer administration, quotation, order and delivery follow-up, invoicing, solvency follow-up and the sending of marketing and personalised advertising.


Legal foundation for the processing
Whenever you decide to request a quotation or pass an order with Marcs Golfshop, we will ask you some personal data in order to be able to treat this request or order.
Personal data is processed based on Article 6.1. (a) consent, (b) required for the implementation of an agreement, (c) required to satisfy a legal obligation, (f) required for the protection of our legitimate interest in entrepreneurship, of the General Data Protection Act.

Insofar as the processing of personal data takes place based on Article 6.1. (a) consent, customers always have the right to withdraw the given consent.


Transfer to third parties
If required to achieve the set purposes, the customers’ personal data will be shared with other companies in the Marcs Golfshop group within the European Economic Area, which are linked directly or indirectly with Marcs Golfshop or with any other partner of Marcs Golfshop.

For payments of items you order with Marcs Golfshop we offer you two options:
1) Payment per Buckaroo: for the treatment of all electronic online or offline payments on our website we make use of the services of our Payment Provider “Buckaroo”, www.buckaroo.nl
For your payment you will be directed to the secure server of Buckaroo where the necessary data for you payment will be asked. Marcs Golfshop has no access to these data and will not be able to consult them.
2) Payment direct to Marcs Golfshop: payment of the order / invoice is done by a normal bank transfer you will pass yourself at your own bank or through your own personal (secure) online banking program, after you have received our invoice. You will therefore not have to give or send us any financial information.

Payment after delivery: In case your wish to pay your order after receiving the goods, it is possible we will check your creditworthiness and for this check we would have to use an external party would will only be allowed to use your data for this purpose.
In case your invoice has not been paid on the expiry date mentioned on this invoice, we, or a third party, will contact you by e-mail, telephone or letter to remind you of the expiring of the invoice. If our invoice is not paid after this reminder your data will be put at the disposal of a lawyer, collection agency or bailiff who will than collect this invoice for us.

Marcs Golfshop guarantees that these recipients will take the necessary technical and organisational measures for the protection of personal data.


Retention period
Personal data processed for customer management will be stored for the time necessary to satisfy legal requirements, in terms of bookkeeping, among others (minimum 7 years).


Right to inspection, improvement, deletion, limitation, objection and transferability of personal data
The customer has at all times the right to inspect their personal data and can have it improved/improve it should it be incorrect or incomplete, have it removed, limit its processing an object to the processing of their personal data based on Article 6.1 (f), including profiling based on said provisions.

Furthermore, the customer is entitled to obtain a copy (in a structured, standard and mechanically readable form) of their personal data and to have said personal data forwarded to another company.
In order to exercise the aforementioned rights, the customer is requested to:
- Adjust the settings of their customer account; and/or

Direct marketing
Marcs Golfshop can use your personal data for internal market research, internal statistic purposes and to keep you informed by e-mail of any developments on our website, f.i. new products or promotions.
Your personal data will, under no condition, be put at the disposal of or be sold to a third party for marketing purposes.

The customer is entitled to object free of charge to the processing of their personal data aimed at direct marketing.
